Medirex Systems approached us with a concept for a notification app that connects loved ones in hospital with their families, and alerts them to changes in their status. We expanded on the concept and created a progressive web app prototype for demonstration to potential clients. Designed to work in tandem with Medirex ID bands, the app scans and authenticates the patient, then links them directly to their up-to-date health information. Multiple hospital stays can be tracked and archived, along with diagnostic results and care plans. Patients can easily invite family and friends to follow their journey and be alerted to major events.

No additional hardware is needed - just simple software integration into existing systems. Although the product is designed to be used with Medirex ID bands, any ID band with a scannable QR or bar code can be used.
